The Raford Inn

We rented all six rooms at the inn for our wedding weekend, so both my family and my new husband's family could stay together. The owners were helpful and responsive, the rooms were beautiful, and the breakfasts were delicious and filling. The grounds have amazing views. My husband's family are from Europe and had never seen hummingbirds before, and we all enjoyed watching them at the many feeders around the inn. The photo was taken from one of the comfortable couches looking outside. It was a wonderful weekend, and we'd all love to return sometime.

Coffee in the front yard on a pretty morning before breakfast was one of our favorite parts of staying here. We spent part of our honeymoon here at the end of July, splitting our trip between Sonoma and Napa. It was our first B&B, and we're so glad we chose it. Everyone was nice, our strawberry room was beautiful and bigger than expected, and the bed was comfy. Breakfast each morning included a yummy egg frittata, fruit, sausage, and a muffin or scone. There are great wineries nearby and delicious restaurants a short drive away. The location made it easy to reach Russian River Valley wineries as well as some bigger-name touristy ones. We can't wait to come back on our next wine country trip.

We made the Raford Inn our home base for nearly a week exploring Sonoma County, from the wineries to the coastline, and we're so glad we chose it. Rita & Dane are warm, knowledgeable hosts. We enjoyed our comfortable room, wine on the porch, and a morning tour of their vineyard, wine making process, and lovely gardens. Looking forward to another visit.

We've been coming back for years because we love this place. With its beautiful surroundings, nearby wineries and restaurants, and quiet Victorian setting, the Raford Inn makes a great getaway. Rita is a wonderful host.
