The room had a new refrigerator, which was already running when I got there, and it was nicely remodeled. Rooms open to the outside, with no interior hallways, giving the place an old-fashioned motor lodge feel. The property has a pool, though it wasn’t open during my stay, and a lovely little chapel that could suit a small wedding. With the restaurant and scenic spots around the grounds, it could work well as a one-place event venue. I didn’t try the restaurant’s food, so I can’t comment on it. The whole property has roadside charm and a retro update. The employees were genuinely friendly, and it was clean and solid. I’d stay again. It’s no five-star palace or velvet-rope resort, but that wasn’t what I needed.

Traveling with my dog was easy here, thanks to the pet-friendly policy and grassy spots for walks. The price was very reasonable, and the location just off the highway made getting in and out easy, with lots of parking. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had good hot water. Breakfast had a nice range, from yogurt to pancakes. The staff were patient, kind, and welcoming. A really good place to stay.

We were coming down from MI and arrived around 1am, not knowing what to expect. The woman at the desk was still wide awake and got us into our room right away. It’s a no-frills hotel. My room’s blowdryer didn’t work, which was a letdown, but otherwise things were fine.

We made a last-minute stop on the way from Florida to Mississippi, and the room was clean and quite nice, with comfortable beds. The woman at the desk was kind and professional, and made sure our request for two rooms together was taken care of. It served our needs well.

After about 8 1/2 hours in the car driving from OH to Fl, it was a relief to find a clean hotel that was great for my cats. The attendants were great, the shower was fine, and breakfast could use some work. Still, it was exactly what we needed. Thank u.
