La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Fort Collins

Really friendly staff, a hot breakfast, and a lobby cash bar in the evenings made this La Quinta Inn a great stay. The beds were spacious and very comfortable, and both the room and modern bathroom were clean. There’s also a nice mini-gym, plus a pool and hot tub that stay open late.

We stayed three nights to visit our “kids,” and the location was hard to beat for exploring Ft Collins. It’s near all the venues and just down the road from Old Town. The room had a huge flatscreen and a walk-in shower, and the hotel offered a nice hot breakfast and coffee around the clock. It’s dog-friendly and a classic fit for any traveler. Applause to Laquinta!

Several things around the hotel affected our stay. The staff weren’t as welcoming as we’d hoped, and service overall fell short of expectations. The shower pressure was low, there was no washcloth, and both the bedside light and hair dryer were broken. We also didn’t care for the coffee creamer, and clutter around the property hurt the overall impression. I hope these issues get addressed for future guests.

Keri made a difficult arrival in Colorado much easier. When things seemed to be going wrong, she took time to hear my concerns, handled them effectively, and helped put me in a good mood with her understanding and reassurance. The front desk staff were friendly, accommodating, and understanding, and everyone else was great too. My room was very, very clean. If I’m back in Fort Collins, I’ll stay here again.
