UNIT 12. The manager went out of their way to help us, and the location is great. My friend Miguel and I stayed here in early December and enjoyed it. We've been back four times, trying the studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Each has its own perks, along with things that need fixing. During two of our stays, they came by to spray for bugs, which I appreciated. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the cleaning staff does a good job, even though an extra pass over spots like the fridge top and door handle wouldn't hurt. It's an older building and they're working on upgrades. The tubs are definitely old and stained, and the cloth couches need replacing. For what it costs, I think the quality is good. If you're after Ritz-level quality, you'll need to pay Ritz prices.

I've been back about four times, and the location is hard to beat. The beach and restaurants are close, and Publix is a 12-minute walk away. The apartment had what I needed to feel at home, plus strong air conditioning. My unit even had a BBQ, which I loved. The staff were a pleasure to deal with. I'd happily recommend it to family and friends.

Unit 12 felt dated and had an old smell. The floors looked fairly new, but the stained tub, old moldy shower, cracked tiles and missing grout were hard to overlook. The sofa was rough and uncomfortable, and the kitchen was small and very dated. Check-in wasn't until 4 pm, and when we got there the door code didn't work, so we had to call to get it reset. The place didn't have the cleanliness or attention to detail my family looks for. I wouldn't recommend this particular unit.

The only real plus was being able to walk to the beach. The apartment was on a creepy side street, and I barely slept because I didn't feel safe. The doorknob was broken and the lights didn't work. I wasn't about to spend my vacation chasing maintenance. To each their own, but I wouldn't stay here again.
