Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale/Downtown Las Olas Area

Shay at the front desk made a positive impression on all of us. After we got off our cruise ship, she helped get my family checked in early and was caring and sweet throughout. We stayed two nights, one before and one after the cruise. The location is very convenient for the cruise terminals, airports, and downtown Fort Lauderdale. Our room was clean and nice, and the shower had hot water. Thank you, Shay!

The room was clean and nicely put together, and the staff were really helpful and pleasant. Parking was easy, right beside the hotel in the garage. My one complaint is that they added an 18 percent gratuity to my bar tab, even though I was by myself.

The city’s main water line broke, leaving the rooms without water, and guests were understandably frustrated. Shay and the front desk team kept everyone informed and did their best to make people comfortable. The rooms and shared spaces are clean and well maintained, but it was the staff’s patience, care, and professionalism in a difficult situation that made the stay. This place has heart and is the best place to stay in Fort Lauderdale.

Nick at the front desk made check-in and checkout easy, handled requests smoothly, and gave useful recommendations. Breakfast was also a nice start to the day, thanks to Becca, who welcomed everyone and kept the area clean, stocked, and inviting. At the bar, Brittney made things relaxed with good drinks and friendly conversation. Those three made the stay memorable.
