Pelican Grand Beach Resort - A Noble House Resort

Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were nice. The room was perfectly adequate with a nice view. Inside, the style is a little dated, though I get that they're keeping an old beach feel, and it works. Things did feel older, though. I only wish the patio had sliding doors so we could listen to the waves, but that's a picky complaint. A solid place to stay.

Ocean 2000 was a favorite, with tasty breakfast and dinner and an amazing view from the patio. For lunch, getting food by the pool or beach was really convenient. Our room was just the right size for me, my husband and our 2-year-old, with a gorgeous beach view to enjoy each day. Housekeeping kept everything spotless and well maintained. The beach was clean and beautiful, and the heated pool made a chilly day much better for our toddler. We also liked the cafe and ice cream parlor for an afternoon treat. Every staff member we met was warm, friendly and helpful. We had a perfect stay at Pelican Grand Beach Resort, exceeded our expectations and can't wait to come back.

Mark and Damion at the valet were two of the most helpful gentlemen, always ready with recommendations, and we loved chatting with them. Brandy was such a delight and made sure our beach and pool days were as good as they could be. We looked forward to catching up with her each day. Alexa kept us fed and hydrated while we relaxed in the sun, and even made time for all our 3-year-old's conversations. Thanks to all of you for making us feel so welcome! We loved the room and the beach access, and really, really loved the lazy river. A perfect vacation.

The staff and service were amazing, though the food was just average, not bad. Our room was nice and the bed comfortable, but it needed more attention to cleanliness. We found a cockroach in the bathroom on our last night, and the hotel could use extermination. The elevators didn't always work right, and staff used the same ones as guests, so trips up and down took three times as long. We used the stairs at times. I raised the problems with management and got the usual apology and assurance they'd address them, but nothing further came through. They didn't offer a partial refund or any other compensation. Very disappointing. Better luck next time. Probably won't even get a response to this review, go figure, they got paid and that's all that matters.
