Private Residence at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

At 1:30 am, after a second cockroach appeared in the kitchen, I decided to spend the night driving home. Earlier, a cockroach had shown up by the pillow. The place was dusty and dirty, the room was filthy, and the sheets were stained. I was disappointed and exhausted, and the whole experience was ruined. I took photos of everything. I came to celebrate my 19th wedding anniversary, but the room was dirty. We asked for room service to mop the floor, which had hair and liquid stains. They came the next day, yet we returned to a dirty floor and dirty tabletops. I also lost some hair using the shampoo and conditioner provided by the hotel. The elevators were slow, and plates and utensils we requested took an hour and ten minutes to arrive. I've had a good experience at this hotel when vacationing in Brasil. This USA beach house in Fort Lauderdaele was so bad that I won't return to a Hilton or let friends make the same mistake. Disgusting páprika lobster. It was already too late to check out and go back home, so I waited another five hours until sunrise before leaving.

The pool restaurant Ilios was fantastic, and our waitress Petrone was so sweet that we asked for her each day. S3, the hotel restaurant, was outstanding too. We loved the food, especially the edamame, the best we've ever had, and the service and atmosphere were great. Everything went smoothly from the moment we arrived at the Beach House Fort Lauderdale. Our room was huge, clean, modern and had everything we needed. The pool was gorgeous, and we had no trouble finding chairs. We had the best time and are already planning another trip!

The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great spot, but the way a pool incident was handled really let us down. Someone had defecated in the pool. I know that wasn't Hilton's fault, but the response was their responsibility. After my kids and I told the recreation team, there was no urgency. Guests weren't moved along quickly and no closure signs went up, so we ended up warning people ourselves not to get in. I can only assume the pool was properly cleaned later. I also went to the front desk to raise my concerns and felt brushed off. That made an already unpleasant situation worse. It was very disappointing. We had stayed one night at the end of our vacation.

Being right on the ocean and close to shops and restaurants made getting around easy. The resort feels like a home away from home, with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. We ate at the restaurants on site, and the service felt personal, like we were the most important guests there at the time. The food was amazing, and the wait staff were top notch.
