The rooftop and second-floor patios both have inviting places to sit in the sun and people-watch. It was too cold to enjoy them for long, which was my only real complaint. We stayed one night before our cruise and could see ourselves returning and recommending the hotel to friends and family. Our room was nicer than expected. It was a little smaller without a kitchenette, but just right for two. The beach is right there, and shops and restaurants are a short walk away. The price is above what I'd usually pay, but felt fair for beachfront lodging, especially compared with nearby hotels. A couple we met said Snooze was as nice as the pricier hotel next door. The elevator is a little odd and old, though there are stairs. Parking is tight, so larger vehicles may have trouble; small to midsize cars are fine.

The view was nice, and the manager was pleasant and at least offered to have someone come back and clean the room. But at $350 for the night, what we got didn't match the price. We booked the ocean view suite for its boutique look, yet the room was outdated and nowhere near as clean or attractive as the photos suggested. There was food in the fridge, a dirty towel hanging on the bathroom door, and hair along the bathroom baseboards, which made us wonder if it had been cleaned at all. The kitchen sink barely trickled, and the water I used to fill the coffee pot looked a little brown. A few bottles of water for making coffee would have helped. The patio furniture was worn, and when I moved a table to close the curtain, one leg fell off. We don't mind shabby chic, but this leaned too far toward shabby. I'd spend another $100 a night for one of the nicer hotels or resorts nearby.

We found the place affordable and well situated, and it worked perfectly for our night before a cruise. We were lucky to get an ocean view, and it was stunning. The room was nice, though parts need repair or updating. The floor had several chips, the doormat was dingy, and the floor itself was very slippery. I assume the humidity causes that, but it could be risky for older guests. The couch was worn, too. There were plenty of windows, but only one had shades, so light came through the others' curtains. Bring a sleep mask. Street noise was loud, though we appreciated the white noise machine. We'd stay again before our next cruise.

We just finished a week here and plan to come back. The beds are comfortable, the AC gets nice and cold, and staying by the beach is easy. It's clean, reasonably priced, and well placed for everything to do at Lauderdale Beach. With the amenities and location together, Snooze is hard to beat for the price.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful when we asked to check in early, and the location was perfect. My friend and I stayed the night before our cruise. Our room was spacious and very clean, and we'd absolutely stay here again.
