Best Western Plus Beach Resort

The rooms were spotless, the atmosphere was laid-back, and there’s coffee available all day. The staff are excellent and accommodate you whenever you ask. Joy, Mike and Scott will take good care of you. Every room has a Gulf view and balcony, and the price was great. We stayed at Best Western Fort Myers Beach and will be back. Recommended.

The heated pool and cappuccino machine were lovely extras, and the balcony made it feel like being on a cruise. The breakfast crew kept an eye on the buffet so there was plenty for everyone. Housekeeping was incredible, sweeping and mopping our floor daily and leaving the room immaculate. They even made little artsy designs on the toilet paper! Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and we had a wonderful, peaceful, fun, relaxing getaway. Ft. Myers is back on its feet! 👏💪 Thanks to all the staff for a great stay. ♥️🤍💙

It’s hard to believe a place like this still exists. The property was spotless, welcoming, and beautifully landscaped, with service from a team that really wanted to help. It had recently been renovated after the hurricane, and if they keep caring for it the way we saw, it’ll be a family paradise for years. Breakfast was excellent, and the food staff were friendly and attentive, especially with seniors who needed a little extra help. They were thoughtful without hovering. At first, the dim lighting along the road and around the property felt unusual for a tourist area. We later learned it was turtle nesting season, so the whole area lowers its lights to protect the turtles. That hadn’t crossed my mind, but once we knew, we were impressed. The lights return to normal white shortly after nesting season. It’s a cool detail, and a small sign at the front desk could help future guests understand why it looks that way at night. Highly recommended. One tip: call directly to book. They go out of their way to answer questions and help you get what you need.

The ocean views are great, with few interruptions, and the hotel is right on the beach. There’s free parking and a free hot breakfast, plus Coco, the adorable parrot who talks to you in the lobby and during breakfast. The rooms were remodeled as of March 2025 and were just right, with a little kitchen area, an almost regular-size fridge, cooktop, cabinets, utensils, plates, cookware, and a microwave. I came in with a preconceived notion about Best Western, but after staying here, I’ve got a new appreciation for it.
