The pool was pleasant, and I appreciated the gym, guest laundry, and free coffee and tea in the lobby. We were very happy with our room and the amenities overall. The only drawback was the kitchen equipment, which is quite worn out, but that didn’t spoil the stay. A good option for most travellers.

I had to stay in several rooms over the week because my dad was in the hospital and his discharge kept getting pushed back, so I had to keep checking in again. The first room was clean but smelled musty, and the first few nights were rough: a soccer team was on my second-floor level, and you could hear every door opening and shutting and people walking past. The walls are pretty thin. The rooms I had on the first floor were quieter, less musty, and renovated. All the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable, though there was some degree of musty smell throughout. For the price, I felt the hotel was on par. If I had a family member in the hospital across the street again, I’d stay here.

The front desk was helpful, but the facility was disgusting. Our heavily used, dated room had mold, rot, damage, and spiders. We couldn’t stomach staying the night.

I’ve never felt so awful after dealing with someone. She was disrespectful and talked down to my husband and me. She had glasses and brown hair. Kevin wouldn’t give me her name so I could make a complaint. I’m travelling now and want to write to IHG’s corporate office. I would have gone to another hotel, but high-season rates and other things made that impossible. I have a front desk card with the general manager’s name, Delia.
