Carousel Beach Inn

The staff were cheerful and accommodating, and when my husband had had a stroke 7 months earlier, they were able to put us on the first floor so he had fewer stairs to climb. Our room was cute and clean, with a little kitchen for cooking some meals. It's right on the beach, far enough from Time Square to be quieter, but close enough to drive down and spend a fours hours in the action. I prefer being away from the crowds. Charley's Boat House is across the street, and their food is incredible. We first stayed here at the end of January 2020, had a great time, and will definitely stay again.

We'd been waiting for a relaxing weekend, and they were super accommodating when we had to reschedule. Once we finally made it, we were so happy. The room was clean and spacious, with an amazing view and the beach just steps from the door. The main downtown area was adorable and kept us busy. Highly recommended.

The inn opens straight onto the beach, which was great. My room was spotless, with a comfortable bed and couch, plenty of drawers and shelves, and a nice bathroom. The kitchen was well supplied with a fridge, sink, oven and stove, microwave, coffee and tea maker, cookware, dishes, glasses, mugs, and utensils. Alex was really helpful. I arrived after the office closed, but his directions for getting my key were easy to follow.

Alex and Nick were so welcoming, and Alex even carried our bags up to the room. That kind of service made our stay. We loved having a kitchen in the cozy room, and the inn itself was peaceful and right on the beach. We came to Fort Myers Beach on a whim and were so glad we did. I almost don't want to leave a good review in case it gets too booked for our next trip, because we'll definitely stay here again.
