The beachside view is a real highlight, especially for watching Florida sunsets. We rented through Vrbo at Estero Island Beach Villas and had a generally positive stay, though there were some annoyances: bits of debris in the garbage disposal drains, construction dust on the floors from renovations in nearby rooms, and water that smelled like rotten eggs for the first day and a half. I contacted the property management team during business hours and they responded quickly. By the time we got back from a day trip to Key West, the water issue had been fixed, so we could shower and use it without worrying about getting sick or dealing with the smell. If I'm back in Fort Myers Beach, I'd definitely consider staying here again.

We rented a three-bedroom but were only given two, and repeated calls went unanswered. One of the two elevators is out of service. Water was also coming down the inside wall into the bathroom. On top of that, renovation noise ran from 7:30 a.m. until around 4 p.m.

The view was great, and getting in was easy. The place was nicely furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. The owners communicated clearly about check-in and checkout. We booked through Coastal Vacation Properties and would highly recommend it.

It's clean, with a nice stretch of beach right out front. Things are quiet unless the resort next door gets noisy at night. That can be managed, and it dies down by 10 p.m. This place suits people who are quiet and low-key.

You won't forget the sunsets here. Beach Villas is a great property with fantastic direct beach access. Since each unit is privately owned, look over the photos and listing details before you book, and go through a reputable management company.
