Sitting on the balcony in the peace and quiet, watching birds and the sunset, felt like having a private beach. Ft. Myers Beach is still rebuilding after Hurricane Ian, and the devastation is hard for me to comprehend. I realized after a day or two that the resort has its own charm. Some families seem to choose the same weeks to reconnect with families they've bonded with over the years. The pool was good and the resort was clean. It's not a 5 star resort, and I usually look forward to a really cushy bed, but would I return? Sure.

The staff were very, very friendly, and the rooms were big and really nice. I hope I get to stay here again.

My excitement after arriving faded fast. Our unit was on the first floor above the pool, and when I asked to change units, they said no. The twin beds had no blankets. I texted for some and got blankets that were trashy. I contacted the office again because the dining room lights didn't work and the wall clock battery was dead. They said they'd send someone up, but it's now Tuesday and nobody has shown up. I wouldn't recommend staying here, or Hilton Timeshares either. It's full of lies and promises.

The sunsets are beautiful, and the hotel itself and its staff were great. Getting around is the hard part, though. It takes 20-30 minutes to reach places off the island.

We loved watching the sun set right from the beach. The rooms were clean and had kitchenettes, and there was a pool, a hot tub, and daily activities. Rosie at the office was great at check-in and answered all our questions.
