After Hurricane Ian destroyed FMB in 2022, I wanted to return once the place reopened. I’d stayed here ten years ago and liked it then, and I can’t say enough good things about it now. The lobby and grounds look beautiful, and the staff are fantastic. Check-in was smooth, and the woman who helped us was very friendly. Our suite was clean, fresh, and great for all six of us. They provided a crib, high chair, sand toys, and a life jacket for my 22-month-old grandson. The pool area was very nice, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful.

We finally made it back to Pointe Estero Resort after the renovations, having stayed there several times before Hurricane Ian. They did an amazing job bringing it back. The place looks fresh and beautiful, the condos have been updated, and the property feels modern and welcoming. The Gulf views and pool area were clean and well maintained, and we still love the beach access. Our family finds the atmosphere relaxing and family-friendly, just right for making memories together. It’s clear how much care went into the work after the storm. Pointe Estero feels like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return.

The one thing that got in the way of enjoying our balcony was the smoking allowed on other balconies. Our downstairs neighbors seemed to smoke almost every time we wanted to sit outside. We knew there weren’t many nearby dining choices before booking. Otherwise, nearly everything was better than expected: a spacious, clean room, friendly staff, beautiful views, and easy access to the beach.

The location is amazing, with the beach and pool right there. We’d seen pictures of the damage Hurricane Ian caused, and it was heartbreaking, so it was wonderful to see how gorgeous the property looks now. The welcome from the staff felt like being received by family. They were warm and attentive. Just great, great, great.

We stayed for eight days as a young family of six and couldn’t have asked for more. The suite had everything we needed to cook, and there’s a grocery store a short distance away. The grounds were beautiful and well cared for, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a lovely family getaway!
