Relax Poolside: Couples Retreat 3 Mi to Gulf!

The place is very clean and the pool is excellent. But twice, unhoused people who live on the street came into the pool area and bathrooms, and I didn’t see anyone there looking after security. I didn’t feel safe there, for myself or my family. This is a serious concern, and I hope they deal with it soon.

We keep coming back to Gulf Air RV Park, and it’s become one of our favorite stops. As a full-time RV family, we care a lot about feeling welcome and safe. This place feels looked after, and the staff are some of the kindest people we’ve met on the road. They go out of their way to make guests feel at home. There’s a real community here. Lots of people are regulars, and folks wave, stop for a chat, and keep an eye out for each other. With kids and a dog along, that familiar, friendly atmosphere means a lot to us. The sites and shared spaces are always clean and well maintained, too. We’ll keep coming back as long as they’ll have us. It’s peaceful, well cared for, and full of great people.

We spent five nights here, and it’s a very convenient spot, close to everything. Walmart is right next door, and the tram from the park to the beach costs just 35 cents, a great deal. The pool is lovely, though I can imagine it getting crowded when the park is full. The restrooms weren’t open while we were there, but they had portable toilets. That was okay since we weren’t visiting during a busy period.

Gulf Air is a great RV park, close to beaches, restaurants, and shops. The staff were amazing and answered all our questions, and maintenance was great, too. Our 40-foot fifth wheel fit perfectly on the site. Highly recommend it. We’ll be back next year.
