Tropical Sands Resort

The beach trail access is just across the street at the crosswalk, and the walk to the powdery, clean beach is quick. Publix is about five minutes away, Walmart around fifteen. I’ve stayed in places like this all the time, and this one feels like home. It’s quiet at night, the bed is comfortable, and I slept like a baby. The two-bedroom unit has a king bed and two twins in the other room. The furniture is comfortable and well maintained, with no stains or damage that I could find. Even the second-floor unit I stayed in, where items hadn’t been replaced since the flooding, was still perfect. The units are immaculately clean and have everything you need. I watched them clean the pool tables and chairs every day, keeping the place sparkling. The pool is in perfect shape and kept at a great 86°. After the first floor flooded in last year’s bad hurricane, they completely redid it. The buildings across the street are still closed from that damage, and the hot tub is still shut, though they work on it practically every day. The crew here is unbelievable, always trying to help guests and get the place back in shape. They even put on a root beer float at the tiki Hut one day, and a coffee, juice, and donuts get-together in the meeting room. Everyone has felt like family. I hope my pictures show how well they look after this place. I expect to be back many times. Two huge thumbs up! 👍👍

I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and everything is very clean. The beach is right across the street.

The rooms were immaculate, and the people were very nice. The pool is great too!

We’ve been having a great time here. There’s lots of room, two nicely sized bedrooms, games, and a pool. It’s very clean, easy to get around, and close to the beach, which we went to every day. Awesome.
