Ocean Village Coral Cluster 1023

The place was clean and cozy, with a cute villa layout and beach theme. We loved the walk-in shower, free bottle of wine, beach chairs and umbrellas, and being on an island. The host was nice and responsive. The neighbor next door, though, seems to think she’s the property manager. After a good first night, I found a note taped to my window the next morning. The following day, after we stopped at the Air BNB for a quick shower before dinner, she knocked and said we needed to hang our handicap tag in the window, then said they’d tow the truck if it wasn’t showing. I was only there about 30 minutes and was leaving again, so I didn’t see a need to put it up. Today I woke to a big orange violation sticker on the window. Security said they’d never seen those kinds of stickers and told us to contact the property manager. We contacted the Air BNB host, who got in touch with security and the property manager. They said everything was fine as long as we had the handicap tag and visitor pass. I guess this woman does this to guests often. Some people just want to enjoy a vacation without a Karen butting in. That’s why we go on vacation, to get away from reality. Mind your business.
