I’ve called the Fort Pierre motel home for the past month and a half. The owners made my stay a good one, and I’m grateful to the room service ladies for keeping the linens and towels clean, the rooms in top shape, and the outside areas tidy. There was always complimentary coffee at the reception office, too. On behalf of all South Africans, thank you. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Fort Pierre Motel.
Very affordable, and the rooms were super clean. Service was great, too. They have coffee and doughnuts in the morning, and it’s locally owned and operated. Parking right by the door made unloading our stuff easy, and there are spots to plug in your boat.
The Schwinler family is what makes this newly updated hotel stand out. They run it with a refreshing eye for detail, and it’s clean as a whistle. Getting off the highway with a horse trailer, fishing boat, or hunting trailer is easy. If you’re used to chain hotels, staying here will be a whole different experience, in the best way. Plenty of people talk about this place, and I can see why. I’d recommend it whenever you’re in the Pierre or Ft. Pierre area. These people are the best.
The rooms are pretty barebones, but that was all we needed. They were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the location worked well. We’ll definitely be back.
I’ve stayed here several years running. The owners are great, and it’s clean and comfortable. They’re very hunter and dog friendly. See you next year.
