Pirates' Bay Marina

The firm bed wasn't our favorite part, but everything else worked well for our two-night stay. The room was clean and maintained, and we liked the peaceful location and what the place had to offer. The view, pool, staff, and location were just right for us.

We were in town looking at houses, and this was our first stay here. The water was peaceful, the sunsets gorgeous, and the pool looked really pretty at night. We also liked being close to everything. The unit was very clean, with clear, easy instructions sent by text. The bed was comfortable and the pullout sofa bed was nice and large. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

We booked B206 through Vacasa on Airbnb the same day we arrived, just for three nights, and were very pleased with the last-minute stay. Check-in and checkout were easy, it was quiet, the view was good, and it was superb value. The room was super clean, with plenty of shampoo and conditioner, towels, and a starter kit with dish soap. The balcony looked over the pool and partly over the marina, and the bed was SUPER comfy. At sunset, we enjoyed walking the marina boardwalk to watch boats and birds. For late-night snacks, there's a delicious sushi place just a two-minute walk away. One thing to watch for: Pirates Bay A and B are separate buildings, with an Olive Garden between them. You'll see the A sign first, then the B sign if you drive past it, so make sure you head to the right one. It was a peaceful beach weekend, and we'd stay here again in FWB.

These are small studios, with a little kitchen, bedroom, and living area all in one room. Since each unit is privately owned, both the condos and the hosts vary a lot. Some are really nice, some aren't, and some hosts are great while others aren't, so it's hit or miss. It used to be very good pricing, but like everything else, it isn't cheap anymore. For what I get, I think it's extremely overpriced.
