The room was open and comfortable for everyone in our group. It’s right in front of the golf and the beach, too. Great place to stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again and again.
The view from the balcony was amazing. We saw lots of dolphins, and the pool was warm rather than freezing. Some floats were provided, though most of the boogie boards were broken; they were still usable. The condition of the condo was awful. There was mold in the toilet, bathtub, and coffee maker, blood on the master bedroom walls and curtains, and more blood on a balcony chair. The walls were dirty throughout, dust was at least two inches thick in places, the kitchen wasn’t clean, and there were black spots and a yellow ring in the smaller bathroom. Trash from previous guests was under the master bed and pullout couch. The towels and pillows were badly stained, and we had to wash the linens before using them because of the smell and how they looked. The pullout couch smelled like urine and had a urine ring, so we bought an air mattress instead. There’s no office space, so check the app for instructions on getting into your room before you arrive. The pictures are misleading. The kitchen table and chairs are squeezed between the sofa and kitchen bar, making them nearly unusable. The bunk room is basically a closet, only suitable for small children. The ice maker made strange noises, the elevator stopped working a couple of times, and the building fire alarm went off because someone was grilling in the grilling area. The hot tub was the same temperature as the pool and didn’t produce jets beyond the ones in the pool. The laundry basket was broken and belonged in the trash. The bunk room lights were out for a whole day, though they eventually came back on. Several drawer knobs were broken, and one in the master bath had an electrical cap in its place. The tall dresser in the queen room wobbled so much that we removed the decorations from the top to keep my grandparents safe. The coffee table in front of the pullout couch is heavy to move back and forth, if you decide to use it. The cleaning person needs to do a much better job. I took pictures.
Every room had an ocean view, and it was really quiet at night. There’s a small store out front for grab-and-go items, plus a pool. On the walk out to the beach, there’s a place to rinse off your feet and other things you brought along. It’s a very family-friendly place, and we rented from a welcoming couple from Alpharetta, GA. We’d definitely stay here again.
I got to spend a week in this unit while the owners were away, painting it to brighten things up. It looked good before, and now it looks stellar.
Having your own balcony over the Gulf is a lovely way to start the day. I would’ve given five stars, but the table and chairs needed repairs.
