Super 8 by Wyndham Ft Walton Beach

We'd definitely stay again. We got a Jacuzzi room through Agoda for under 400 bucks for a week during Christmas week. It's an older motel, but it was clean and quiet. There's park and beach access right across the street, plus a liquor store within walking distance and a cute pizza place.

Breakfast was honey buns and coffee, so there wasn't much selection. The staff were amazing, though, and my service dog loved the dog park across the street. The mattress was super soft, even though I prefer a firm one.

After driving all night, I was grateful the woman let me check in early. The room was clean and nicer than other places I've stayed. My only complaint was that very little cold water came out of the spa tub, but everything else worked. I'd definitely book this room again.

The park across the street is beautiful, with water and a nice view. The front desk woman and the rest of the staff were super friendly and accommodating, and I felt safe and happy here. If you need perfect white sheets and a fantasy-garden smell, then, no duh, this isn't that kind of place. But if you just want to be comfortable, live your life, enjoy yourself, and accidentally spill soda without crying over a pointless extra $100 charge, this is your spot. I'll stay here whenever I visit, as long as they keep that front desk lady. I love her, she's a vibe! 🧡
