Villas Capri by Southern Vacation Rentals

The balcony looking over the beach was a highlight, and we spotted dolphins from it early each morning. The rental had everything we needed apart from food and clothes, with a living room, open kitchen, nice bathroom, one bedroom, and space that would suit a couple or family. My fiancé proposed on the beach at sunset, which made the stay feel perfect. We hope to come back for years to come.

You can step straight from the bedroom onto the beach, and the location was worth the price. The downside is that hotel chairs spill into the area reserved for condo guests, so it can be hard to find a decent place to sit.

Paul and Candy were easy to work with through VRBO, and Marrietta was lovely and helpful. We arrived to a spotless condo with no sand on the floor, even though it’s right on the beach. Inside, it’s older but really nice and clean, with granite counters, tile throughout, and a kitchen stocked with useful utensils, a range top, toaster oven, and microwave. The king bed was very comfortable, as was the pullout sofa. My husband, daughter, and I fit perfectly. I loved sitting on the balcony and taking in the view, and we even saw dolphins over coffee on our first morning. Beachside service is included, with extra chairs and umbrellas in the closet. For the price, it’s hard to beat. If we’re back in Fort Walton, this will be the first place we try to book. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

The condo was beautifully decorated, had everything handy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Chairs and umbrellas were set up on the beach, right outside the back door. Thanks again, Paul & Candy! The only downside for me was the third-floor walkup. I knew about it when I booked, but I’d just broken my ankle on the 4th of July, so the stairs were a bit of a trip. The wifi was spotty too.
