The beach stayed pleasantly uncrowded, and the service there was fantastic. We also loved how well kept and family friendly the grounds felt. There was always something for our young kids to do, which made the whole trip more fun for everyone. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. My only small gripe was the $17 piña colada at the pool bar, which felt a little disappointing for the price. Still, that's minor compared with the great family memories we made. Families with kids should definitely consider this resort.

Waterscape has become more expensive every year. A two bedroom condo at the beginning of summer now runs $4,000++. We've still come back every summer for six years because the mix of beachfront access, a multi bedroom condo, splash pad, lazy river, and pool is hard to beat. But parts of the property need attention. The lazy river water guns haven't worked in five years, the crab slide at the splash pad no longer works, and water collects on the ground beside the hot tub. If a similar option were available somewhere else, I'd switch.
The new armbands were the biggest frustration of our stay. They're supposed to unlock access to the amenities, but about half of ours wouldn't work on the keypads, and they come off easily. My 10 year old wore his properly after we arrived just after 6 pm, excited to get to the pool, but it was gone by the time we returned to the room around 9. We searched in the dark, then came back when the pool opened the next morning to look again. Nothing. The front desk hadn't received it either. A manager agreed the system wasn't good, but still said kids had to wear the bands all the time. Expecting children to keep on bands that fall off and don't reliably unlock gates, with a $50 replacement fee if one is lost, makes no sense. I found that response terrible customer service. This was our third visit to Waterscape and our first under new management, and some of the changes left me really disappointed. Our room hadn't been cleaned well, and the bunk beds had no sheets. We requested another set, then came back to find the cleaning crew had left our unit door open. There was a coffee pot but no filters, and just one tiny bottle of dish soap.
The pool was amazing, and the rooms were clean and awesome. My disabled son could get around everywhere he wanted without any trouble. Beach access was great too. We absolutely loved it, 10/10 recommend.
We had a convenient location and a kitchen in the condo, with a Publix store around the block, so it was easy to stock up on meals and snacks. The stay also included cabana chairs and an umbrella, and there were no parking garage fees, which made things even easier. We had a family Spring break with three kids, ages 12-14, and everyone had a great time. The beach access and pool choices were what we cared about most, and they made it feel like a perfect vacation. Thank you!!
