Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Worth Downtown

The bed was firmer and thinner than I like, though the pillows were great. Aside from that, I had a great weekend at this Hampton Inn in Fort Worth. The staff were all friendly and upbeat, and the clean hotel was easy to get around. Breakfast had a nice range of options, plenty of dining space, and really good waffles. Several bars and restaurants are within walking distance, and the Stockyards are only a short drive away.

I’m so grateful to the team at Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Fort Worth. A storm turned my last-minute hotel plans into a stressful mess, and the staff made sure I was safe and settled. The hotel let me park in its garage early when I called around 6:00 a.m., as the roads were already getting bad. When I mentioned that another hotel wouldn’t refund me because of the weather, they checked me into an available room at 7:00 a.m., eight hours before the usual time, with no hassle. I’d had to find somewhere close to the convention center so I could walk safely while the storm passed. The staff were understanding, kind, and accommodating throughout. That sort of hospitality is rare, and it’s made me a Hilton member for life. Thank you for turning a difficult situation into a positive experience.

Emily at reception and Sandy in housekeeping were fantastic, and the rest of the staff were just as kind. They even offered my son bubbles after he wandered into the offices. The warm pool area and heated water made swimming comfortable on cold days, and the pool was good for kids. Our spacious room was spotless, with a view of the trains that my young child loved. Breakfast included hot options like waffles, eggs, and bacon, along with cereal, bagels, and yogurt to take along. Public transportation and restaurants are within walking distance. The nearby zoo, dream park, and trinity river park add to the family appeal, as do the Stockyard activities: the human maze, trail rides, carriage rides, ice skating, and twice-daily cattle drive. It takes a lot to get me to leave a review, but this family-friendly hotel earned one. Highly recommend it.

We chose a two-room suite for a little extra space during our long-weekend mini vacation in March. The hotel was comfortable and very clean, and the staff were wonderful. The downstairs bar was great too, with excellent drinks. Breakfast was included in the price, tasty, and a nice way to start the day. We’ll stay here again!
