Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Fort Worth Southwest I-20 by IHG

The rate at checkout wasn’t the one I’d booked, and when I raised the other problems during my stay, they barely acknowledged them. The room stayed humid enough that the sheets and towels felt damp because the air conditioner only ran cold for about five minutes at a time. WiFi was so slow it took five minutes to load a page, and I had to cancel a work Zoom meeting because the connection couldn’t support it. They did have a hot breakfast, but the food never changed, it was the same egg white omelet every day. This was much worse than other Holiday Inn Express hotels I’ve stayed at in recent months.

Brooklyn made us feel welcome right from the start, with genuine warmth, a smile, and real professionalism. She patiently answered every question and went out of her way to make sure things were right. Service like that made our stay unforgettable. Thank you, Brooklyn, for making it such a wonderful visit!

I’ve stayed here twice, first with my child and later for a work trip. The first visit’s location made me consider staying again, but the customer service and hospitality have gone downhill. It can work for a quick visit, and there’s an IHOP next door if that’s the kind of breakfast you like. I won’t return to this location.

The kids liked the pool, and the gym is spacious and nice. We were offered another room, but didn’t feel like moving all our things. The TV wouldn’t turn on, and every time the air conditioner started it sounded like a plane taking off. Switching rooms probably would have made the stay better.
