We came as a group of 14, including young children, and the check-in and parking situation was the worst part. If your group has more than five vehicles, the sixth and any additional cars won't be allowed onto the property. There's no alternative parking arranged, so you're left to find somewhere off-site. Two women in our group who had young children weren't even allowed to drop their bags at the rental before leaving to park elsewhere. Getting through check-in was a nightmare. Cars backed up onto the main road and blocked traffic, and the wait was at least 10 to 20 minutes. The guards were rude and quick to turn people away, with a tow truck waiting at the entrance ready to tow vehicles. The house itself wasn't very clean or well equipped for cooking. The internet kept cutting in and out, and the carpets were filthy, like a cheap motel. Reviews can't always be trusted, so I'll add my experience alongside the recent one-star reviews of Windsor island resort. Think twice before pinning your ideal getaway on this place.

The resort is gated and well kept, with a clubhouse, restaurant, resort pool, and mini golf. Our VRBO home was excellent, with all the amenities, including a screened-in private pool, a game room, and a Star Wars themed bar. It had six bedrooms with different themes. The location was great, with easy access to Disney World and Disney Springs. We had a great stay.

We’ve taken multigenerational family trips to Windsor Island Resort twice now, and it’s a fun place to stay. The kids love the water park, free arcade, and putt putt. The adults like having a private pool and game rooms at the house.

We waited in the queue for more than an hour and a half just to get into the resort for check-in. They urgently need to review how check-in works.

We went for my granddaughter Luna's 3rd birthday and had an excellent time. Five stars across the board. The pool was lovely, and there's a game room upstairs in the loft with at least six machines and 15 different games, plus a foosball table that brought out the kid in me again. The bedrooms all have themes. It's a 5/4.
