The house and the resort were dirty, uncomfortable, unsafe, and overcrowded. The photos are misleading, and management didn't seem to care about cleanliness, maintenance, or guests. Avoid this place and spend your vacation money somewhere that meets basic expectations. We stayed two nights at 2167 Lelani Cir with six families, and it was a disaster from the start. Security guards were rude and unhelpful, wouldn't speak to us directly, and sometimes mumbled or turned away to talk toward their office. There were no clear signs for which entrance lane to use, so we went in the wrong way without realizing it and got attitude. There was no guidance at all. The house smelled stale, like old food and must. Floors were filthy enough to turn everyone's feet black, so we wore shoes indoors to avoid grime and debris. There were marks and stains on the walls, including some that looked like feces on the staircase, and dried urine by the toilet in the Marvel-themed bathroom. The linens in the Pirates room had dirt on them, and those in the beach room had blood and dirt. We had to wash them ourselves when we arrived. The pool was cloudy, with hair and debris in the water and trash on the bottom. Towels were wrapped in plastic, but had coarse black hairs on them and felt slimy when wet. Furniture was broken or worn. The couch sagged, the beds were rock hard, and the recliners didn't work. The themed rooms seemed unfinished: blue painter's tape covered Mickey's mouth on the downstairs mural, and paintwork in the downstairs superhero room was unfinished. The washer and dryer barely worked, taking several tries to get going properly. We were told we couldn't set the A/C below 70°F, which made the house unbearable for more than 16 people. We had to cool off in our car. Fans in every room might have helped, but there weren't any. There were no nightlights in the bathrooms or hallways, and the rules said leaving lights on “raises the rent.” How are little kids and others supposed to see at night? The resort area looked great in pictures but was completely packed. The pools were small and crowded, and the tiny lazy river was overrun. There was no system for using the floats, so most people didn't get one. Parking by the community pool was minimal. Outside food and even water weren't allowed in the pool area, unless you wanted to buy overpriced food and drinks. The photos show firepits for making s'mores at night, but you can't bring in a water bottle. You have to throw it away or leave it in your car. The streets were narrow and crowded, making driving hazardous. The rule allows five cars per house, but there's space for only four. Where's the logic? The worst part was getting trapped in the shower. The sliding divider door in the Moana-themed bathroom malfunctioned and locked my husband and me inside. The lock spun but wouldn't open. Our phones and towels were outside. We banged and yelled for 10 minutes before family heard us and forced the door open. Completely unacceptable.
