Grand Palms Resort by Sun Country Villas

We’ve stayed in their units five times over the past four years. They’re consistently clean, well equipped, and comfortable, with good beds and all the amenities our family needs on vacation. Highly recommend.

Barb, the owner, is the best woman in Florida! Over the years she’s spent hours on the phone with me and always finds the condo in her resort that suits my family. She’s patient and accommodating. The units are spacious and feel like home, with lovely decor that’s nowhere near as tacky as other condos at the same price. I love sun country villas and stay with her almost every year.

The apartment was spacious and decent, but we couldn’t use the Jacuzzi because it wasn’t properly cleaned. There were black things on and around the jets and filter, and I’m not sure if they were mold or mildew. The shower curtain also had mildew on it. We only learned two days before our vacation that the swimming pool was out of use. Anyone could walk onto the property because the small gate was never locked and didn’t have a lock. For those reasons, I don’t think I’d stay there again.

I’ve known Barb and her family for years, and I stay in one of their apartments every now and then when it works with my plans. The main thing is that it’s clean, and every place looks like it does on their website. The owners are extremely friendly, and it’s affordable.
