Regal Palms

The living quarters were nice, but the pools were filthy and the food was basically bar food. The resort also didn't enforce its noise rules. There wasn't much worth doing nearby, at least an hour away. We won't be back.

The pool area was really nice, and the lazy river was great, though lots of kids were trying to swim instead of float around, which took away from the lazy river experience. The Townhouse itself was very clean and nice. A few things brought it down for me: the living room TV didn't work, and the AC had to stay between 72 and 80 because they said going lower could damage the unit and they'd charge for it. In Florida's hot season, that didn't cool the upstairs bedrooms. They gave us a box fan, but only for the master bedroom. Also, the bedside lamp on one side was wired to the bedroom's overhead light, so it wouldn't work once that light was off. That was pretty odd.

The hot tub and lazy river were awesome, and the resort itself was very nice. The condo was fine, but I wouldn't call it great. The toilets slide around and need tightening, and the bedrooms could use darker blinds or drapes because Florida gets bright. The beds were a little rough, and I couldn't set my condo below 73 degrees.

The front desk ladies were amazing and really tried to make us comfortable, so a big thanks to them. But our stay at 141 La Mirage St was ruined. The AC and Wi-Fi weren't working when we arrived, there was a foul smell in the kids' room, and we all had to sleep in one bed in the master bedroom. While we were cooking, a family of rats kept coming in and out through a hole by the kitchen cabinet. The shower towels were wet and left on the beds. There was also an argument between the resort towel attendant and a child. She seemed unaware that some hosts use the same towels in their homes as the ones at the pool area.
