Service and location were okay, but this was nowhere near the “4 star resort” it was advertised as. I booked for the weekend and couldn't stay more than one night because of the condition. I was first put in a second-floor room, but the elevator was broken and I had two toddlers and lots of luggage, so I asked to move. The new room was right by the resort pool, where the waterfall was unbearably loud. There was no ceiling light, just a switch by the door that did nothing. Maybe the lights were removed when they bought the hotel for renovation. Instead there was a lamp haphazardly placed on the dresser with a long cord and switch, plus a tall floor lamp with its switch at the bottom. The room was dirty all over, with mold, a visibly dirty couch, and a musty smell. The bathroom was filthy from floor to tub. We had to run the shower about five minutes before the water got hot, and there was hair all over the towels. They hadn't provided washcloths, so we had to use hand towels to bathe. The walls looked like someone had painted over dirt. There was no water in the room, so we had to buy it from their store. The table was falling apart and parking was limited. At best, this was a 2.5 star hotel. I strongly advise against it.

Stephanie went above and beyond to help four avid scrapbookers find space to work on our hobby together while we were in town. She made sure we were comfortable, and we really appreciated it. Thanks, Stephanie, you were amazing! The staff were friendly and accommodating, the hotel was clean, and the pool was gorgeous. They also offer complimentary towels, which made packing easier since we didn't have to worry about drying ours.

I watched families with small kids one evening, but my room stayed quiet. The pool area could get lively, though it never disturbed us indoors. Front desk staff were welcoming, recognized my Diamond Elite status right away, and had dangerously good cookies at check-in. I was in town for film production meetings and the runDisney Wine & Dine weekend, staying at the VOCO Kissimmee Orlando. For convenience and comfort, it hit the sweet spot. The renovated boutique hotel is charming, clean, and easy to get around. I could leave my room, get in the car, and park at EPCOT for corral lineup in under 15 minutes. That was faster than staying on Disney property, and the extra morning sleep is gold for runners. I used the pool and workout room every day, and both were in great shape. My one downside as a runner was the lack of a hot tub, hopefully that's on their upgrade list. Breakfast's avocado toast was good, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants if you want something different. Solid stay for Disney visitors wanting boutique charm, quick access, and stress-free parking. I'll be back.

The room could use brighter lighting, but that's a very minor complaint. Otherwise we had no issues with bugs or smells, despite what some other reviews mention. It's good value, and the staff are friendly. The pool is kept in very nice condition. There are also several decent places to eat within walking distance, including Italian, Sushi, Deep Dish Pizza, and Filipino options.
