SureStay Hotel by Best Western Clermont Theme Park West

The rooms were spacious, very clean, comfortable, and well kept. Staff were friendly, polite, and ready to help when asked. Parking was plentiful during my stay, which was admittedly outside the busy season. The hotel is close to Disney park entrances, so you can be nearby without paying Disney hotel prices. The biggest reason I wouldn't return is the traffic around the area. Route 192 roadworks ran overnight, and even with the hotel entrance just across the road, it took nearly an hour to get through. That happened on four of my five nights. Even when the roadworks weren't happening, traffic into Kissimmee was awful all day. I know this is Orlando, and it's not the hotel's fault, but staying a few miles away could save an hour of travel. The WiFi was also terrible, unreliable and painfully slow when it did work. Breakfast was cramped, with a space barely bigger than a walk in closet and only a couple of tables, which filled up quickly. You had to squeeze around other guests to get food. The offerings ran out fast, and there was no breakfast staff to replenish them. We had to track down desk staff who were often busy to ask for milk, yoghurt, bread, and other items. The staff did their best, but a breakfast included in the stay should have someone looking after that area. Some of the issues aren't the hotel's fault, so I can't give it a totally negative review. The staff took good care of the room and were helpful, but between the traffic, poor WiFi, and breakfast setup, I wouldn't stay again.

I've stayed at Best Western many times and hadn't even realized this hotel was here. I found it on a recent trip back to Florida. It's a clean, well maintained, average hotel, but the manager made the stay above average. He was pleasant and very accommodating. That alone will bring me back next time I'm in Florida. Thanks for making the stay enjoyable!

There were bed bugs, and the place was disgusting. We didn't even stay the night, but the staff refused to refund us. We'd booked six rooms for a week, and they wouldn't refund any of the rooms or nights. The staff were no help at all. Bugs in a hotel are never okay.

The service was attentive. We checked in very late without any trouble, and when I accidentally left my laptop charger in the room at checkout, they called promptly so I could pick it up without losing time. The cleaning staff were excellent. It's also close to the theme parks. The rooms are large and have the amenities you need, though there's no full kitchen, just a small fridge-freezer and microwave. Breakfast is standard continental, but the clear-sided automatic pancake maker is fun to watch, and the coffee machine makes great coffee to order. The bathroom was fine, although the tub's shape was uncomfortable and it had no drain stopper. Room access is via covered exterior hallways.
