The Berkley, Orlando

We had a great stay and will definitely return. The calendar they gave us at arrival listed daily activities and movies in the theater, all included with the stay. We also used the grills to cook steaks, and the pool was heated. The pool table gave our family something to do indoors during a break. The room had a large kitchen stocked with everything, great bathrooms and bedrooms, soft beds, and a washer and dryer. Everything was very clean, and they came in midway through our week to clean and restock. The pool stayed nice and clean even after a storm, and the staff were kind and helpful. The washer never worked right. We reported it and maintenance came to look, but they couldn’t get it working while we were there.

It’s a quiet hotel set back from the street, with Target and restaurants very close by and a shuttle to Disney. We had a two bedroom room that was clean and comfortable, with full size beds and an amazing, huge jetted tub. Check in was simple: we checked online ahead of time and picked up our keys at the front desk. The staff were friendly, and we had everything we needed. The pool was clean and heated.

After our cruise, our flight was cancelled, and we knew where to go. Abdo recognized me in the lobby and greeted me with a smile. He already had a room ready, knowing what our family needed. Alaina helped us extend the stay over the next three mornings until we could get a flight home. I can’t say enough about how accommodating the staff were. Thank you! We’d had an amazing stay at The Berkley before our cruise, too. The rooms are spacious, the pool and hot tub are beautiful, and we could watch fireworks from the balcony each night.

The Berkley felt like renting an apartment, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a screened balcony. It was very clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. We had no noisy neighbors, and the gym and pool area were great. The hot tub was a pleasant surprise. Sea World isn’t a long drive if you leave before or after rush hour. I only wish the vending machines had bottled water and that the dining room lightbulb had been working.
