We come back to Windsor Hills every time. It’s comfortable, very clean and quiet, has good amenities, and the prices are honestly a bargain compared with resorts. The only drawback is that you don’t get park benefits. Since we like doing both Disney and Universal, this works out as better value for us, and every property has a washer and dryer so we can go home with clean laundry. There are condos, town homes, and full sized villas in this gated community. The security gate helps keep things quiet, and staff are very helpful at check in. There’s a large community pool with a waterslide, hot tub, and sunbathing area. It’s about 10 minutes to most Disney areas, and 30 minutes to Universal and SeaWorld, though the drive to Disney is easy and Universal takes a little longer. Kissimmee has good food and groceries for a longer stay, plus dozens of restaurants, old school knock off souvenir shops, and mini golf nearby.

The governor of Florida was telling everyone to leave or die, so we left and cut our vacation short. The company refused a refund, saying the cancellation policy still applied because Orlando wasn’t under a mandatory evacuation. They only care about their bottom line, not their guests. Even getting registered was a nightmare. After booking, I got flooded with emails and had to log into their portal to do a bunch of things. Then they asked me to send a lot of personal information by unencrypted email. I refused, and then they wanted my credit card statement to prove I’d paid. The clubhouse is far from the units, so you have to pack everyone into the car to get there. The units are quite old, and it’s starting to show.

My son ate this expired product, along with another expired item that the hotel had offered as a welcome gesture.
