Windsor Island Resort Homes and Townhomes

We come here every year for the kiddie area, but this time the pool was overpacked with adults drinking and not being considerate of the kids. The area wasn't listed as closed on the resort's site or our host's Airbnb site. At the front, we were told it was “under construction,” but there was little to nothing different about it. Don't waste your time at this resort!

The clubhouse is very nice, and I like that they enforce the rules so everyone can enjoy themselves. The food was good, though a little pricey, as you'd expect at a resort. All the staff we ran into inside the water park were really nice.

We spent the 4th of July weekend here as a family and had a great time. The clubhouse and water park were really nice, though traffic was a bit much. I liked that the trash was picked up daily. There should be more security driving through the neighborhoods, though, since there was some activity that wasn't appropriate with so many kids around. We enjoyed ourselves and will come back.

I've only been here half a day, but the traffic just to get in has been atrocious. They have two entrances but don't open the other one to the public. We've waited 45 minutes to move one mile down the street because the system for admitting cars is terrible. I'm sure the stay itself is better, and I think I may still have a good time, but the traffic alone is enough for one star. Maybe that will get them to change something.
