Super 8 Franklin Middletown Area

The rooms I’ve booked have always been clean, and the hallways are kept up as usual. They’ve also improved how they handle bookings and understand what guests need. You can tell they’ve worked on the place.

There’s a McDonald's across the street if you want something quick, and a gas station just down the road. Kings Island is about a 20-30 minute drive away. I’ve stayed here plenty of times and would recommend it. One staff member has an attitude problem, which is why I’d give the service four stars, but everyone else is amazing. The housekeeping is friendly and the service is terrific overall.

I won’t be staying here again. I booked through Hotel.com and paid for the room with my credit card at check-in, then was told afterward that I also owed a $60 cash deposit. There’d been no mention of that when I reserved online, and I’ve never had to leave a cash deposit when paying by card. I was furious and felt terribly treated during check-in. The front desk lady finally said I could just make sure to leave the room clean. I’ll be telling people about this ridiculous policy.

I’ve been here almost 55 days, and the staff couldn’t be nicer. They’re generous and always willing to go the extra mile. The place is extremely clean, and the rates are affordable. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else to stay in the Middletown/Franklin area.
