The good parts were easy parking, shoveled sidewalks, and a simple check-in and check-out. Maybe that was because there didn’t seem to be anyone around. First-floor units get two dura logs for the fireplace, too. But the rooms smelled very musty, and they charge for things like towel exchanges, toilet paper, and paper towels. There isn’t much nearby, and you can’t really walk anywhere, so you have to drive into town. I tried the main desk number and the others on the information sheet, but nobody answered.

The place was clean, though our unit felt a little dated. There’s heat but no air conditioning. The recreational center was nice and had what we needed, including heated pools, an indoor basketball area, ping pong, a sauna, and exercise equipment. I appreciated that they had floaties for the kids.

The atmosphere was great, though the snowy drive up the mountains was scary.

The kitchen made it easy to cook every day and save money, and the location was great. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The heater controls weren’t accurate, so it took a while to get the temperature comfortable. The guess stop was great, but we ran through paper towels and other supplies quickly, so more would have helped. The spa and club house were a bit far to walk to through the snow. It was a good stay.

The mountain sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous, and there are lots of hiking and fishing spots a short drive away. The place was cozy and nicely furnished. I’d definitely stay again.
