Homewood Suites Fredericksburg

A disappointing stay, and we won't come back. My room was clean in some spots and really dirty in others, with a film on the walls and doors that was pretty gross. There was no soap, and almost no conditioner. When I asked for some, I was ignored. The breakfast was disappointing too: they put ham in the eggs, and the only meat was pork sausage. Millions of people don't eat pork, but I guess we don't deserve a protein option. None of the concerns I raised with staff were addressed. I wish I had something good to say.

Beautiful views, gorgeous decor, and spacious, exquisite rooms. This property is absolutely fabulous! But Ms. Monica at the Front Desk was the highlight. Whatever she's paid, it isn't enough. She's a real gem, so kind and personable.

The manager, Ronnie, checks in on everything to make sure it's going well, and the staff are all dependable. They're the best. I've had guests stay here for years, and it's always my first choice. The rooms are super clean, the staff are sincere, and when something isn't right, they work to fix it. If I could give six stars in every category, I would.

We didn't feel rushed packing up because checkout was pretty late. Breakfast was really good too. The hotel is in a great spot, surrounded by stores and restaurants, and it's right across the parking lot from the convention center.
