A gorgeous sunset made our afternoon at Messina Hof special. We stopped there through a travel app we use and had great service and wines. Jan, the wine steward, was friendly and helpful, with excellent suggestions as we talked about the styles we like. We tried glasses of Sparkling Almond wine and Cabernet Sauvignon, both just right for our tastes, and took a bottle of Sparkling Almond home to enjoy later.

Alberto poured our wines and made the tasting fun, with great descriptions. We were surprised by how good the Winemaker's flight was. I wasn't keen on one of the flight's wines, but they let me swap it for another without any fuss. Compared with other vinyards in the area, this place had much more seating and a more relaxed feel. I wish we'd stayed here for a few glasses instead of doing tastings at other vineyards.

It's been a few years since our last visit to Messina Hof, and I'm glad we went yesterday. The tastings were great, and the lounge was comfortable for sipping wine and sharing the charcuterie board. Jan Bowling was especially kind and considerate to everyone in our group of five while helping with the tasting. Thanks to Jan and Messina Hof for a wonderful time. We plan to join the wine club early next year!

The service was very helpful in guiding each of us toward wines that suited our own tastes. Messina Hof has an incredible range and quality, and the winery family must be proud of what they've achieved. It'd be hard to find a wine here that you don't like.

There are so many wineries around that choosing where to go can be tough, but I wouldn't miss Messina Hof. I've been drinking their wines and visiting for years, and it's always been a great experience. The wines are great and the staff fantastic. On our most recent visit, Jan and Deborah were especially gracious and attentive.
