Schubert Inn-main Pool and Grill 2blks to Main

The room and location were great, but the gate’s combination lock was awful. Sometimes it took ten minutes to open. Bugs were crawling on the ceiling above the bed, which was gross, and there was no soap or shampoo. The listing said there’d be a toaster, but there wasn’t one. The mini-fridge freezer was badly iced over and needed defrosting. There was no on-site manager. When I contacted management, they said they were out of state and had people working for them. Shampoo and conditioner appeared at the door 24 hours later, but they didn’t deal with the other problems or offer any fix for my disappointing three-night stay. No toaster, pest control, maintenance, discount, or partial refund. Too bad, since this could be a good property. The ambiguous fees made the experience even worse, and I probably won’t return.
