The Country Haus: Quaint Home 1 Mile From Downtown

The porch was a lovely place to sit with wine and enjoy some quiet, even though downtown was very convenient to reach. We had plenty of room to share, with large bedrooms, and the downstairs bathroom was especially nice. I loved the big shower and all its different shower head settings, which gave it a spa feel. Such a cute house for our girls' weekend. I'd stay again.

We had a wonderful bachelorette weekend here. The house feels warm and cozy, and it has what you need for a stay away from home. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was amazing. There's even a fire pit and a little fish pond, so cute! Chris was responsive and available if we needed anything, and gave us good winery and restaurant suggestions. We'll definitely stay again.

We had seven people and plenty of seating inside and out. Chris has equipped the place with everything guests might need, and those king beds were a big hit. The pillows and mattresses were so comfortable I wanted to take them home. With four bedrooms, it's a great cozy house for friends to spend a few days or a week together. It's peaceful being a little way from Main Street, but restaurants and shops are still walkable. We'll be back for sure in 2020.

Chris was really helpful, with tips and suggestions that made it easier to enjoy our trip. The house was easy to get to and close to the town's attractions. We had a great girls' weekend in this cozy place, with lots of room, comfortable beds, and everything we needed. The shower was an especially nice extra. Definitely recommend!
