The inn is within easy walking distance of downtown Freeport, and everyone was pleasant and helpful. We didn't bring a dog on this trip, but we like supporting dog-friendly businesses when we can. The historic 1848 building has been modernized enough to be comfortable without losing its charm and beauty.

Check-in was easy, and we were greeted as soon as we arrived at Candlebay Inn. Our room was spotless but still cozy, and every breakfast was delicious and homemade. We enjoyed chatting with the innkeeper. Please support this family-run business and book a room here 🩵

Connie and her daughter do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your stay. The place is very clean, cozy, comfortable, and relaxing, and the breakfast is delicious. I'll definitely be back.
