Comfort Inn & Suites Frisco East - McKinney

Very affordable, with a huge room and two queen beds. It was clean enough, and the breakfast bar was more than adequate. I love a fresh waffle machine, and waffles shaped like Texas are next level. There’s a little highway noise since it’s right off the highway, but it wasn’t enough to keep me awake.

We’d gladly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Our elderly father stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites while moving from Houston to Frisco, as he left independent living and entered a new phase of life. It was an uncertain and difficult time for our very involved family, but Vicki, the manager, treated him like one of her own. Her kindness, patience, compassion, and understanding brought calm and dignity to what could have felt overwhelming. Her warmth and the staff’s attentiveness helped us feel supported and made the transition manageable. We’re deeply grateful for the care and leadership she showed throughout the stay. Those qualities feel rare in customer service.

I’ve stayed here twice now, and it’s always a pleasure. The staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast tastes good, and the rooms seem clean every time.

They charged twice the usual room price for the holiday, then wanted to charge for anything and everything. If you or your kids spill something on the sheets or have an accident, they’ll charge $150 to throw out sheets that cost $30. I called to ask why I’d been charged $150, more than the room cost, and the guy who answered said his manager would have to handle it, then hung up. I had to call back just to find out when the manager would be there. An absolute joke.
