Frisco Inn on Galena Street

We loved this little find. Since the hotel is small, it can give guests extra attention, like having nibbles ready each day before you head out to dinner. Its location is perfect, too. You can book spa treatments, which we did, and there are nice jacuzzis, one indoors and one outside. My husband said it was the best massage he’s ever had. They also have a neat electronic breakfast ordering system: choose what you want the night before, and it’s ready when you walk in the next morning.

Breakfast was delicious, and ordering it the night before meant it was ready when we came down. They were happy to work around allergies and dietary needs. The coffee selection also deserves a mention, it’s excellent and clearly chosen with care. The owner is a world traveler, and that shows in the offerings. The rooms were cozy, with the amenities you’d expect from a high quality hotel and the character of a small mountain inn. The place also has massages and spa treatments, a comfortable reading area, and an evening aperitif. We loved our stay at the Frisco Inn on Galena. It’s a beautiful, quaint inn tucked into the mountains in Frisco, CO, peaceful, charming, and welcoming from the start. Check-in was easy and personal, and they gave us a walking tour that made us feel at home. It’s a rare mix of comfort, hospitality, and thoughtful touches. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely return.

Avery made sure we felt welcome and handled the safe preparation of our gluten-free food with real care. Everyone, including the owner, was kind, and we loved having the hot tub, dry sauna, game room, and all those cozy spots to sit and read. We stayed in the family suite at the Frisco Inn on Galena and had a lovely time. I even ended up sitting on the floor and noticed how clean the carpet was, right along the wall too. It must be fairly new. The bedding was clean, and the decor had a lot of character. This is the place we'll think of when we come back. Thanks, FIOG!

The whole place has a spa-like smell, and coffee is available all day, along with lattes and snacks. Breakfast was incredible. You place your order the night before, which makes the morning easy. The team clearly cares about making guests feel at home, with hotel amenities but more of a staying-with-friends feel. We found the room and bed clean and comfortable, and check-in included a helpful walk-through. They showed us the different doors so we could come and go easily to the street, hot tub, or parking. The location is hard to beat: just off the main street, close to restaurants and the rest of Frisco, but still quiet. Copper, A Basin, Keystone, and other spots are an easy drive away. We'd love to come back in summer.
