A great spot to relax and unwind. The staff were amazing and the rooms were great. The restaurant cooks food to order, so don’t go if you’re in a hurry.

We had a good time enjoying the natural beauty around us. We visited the marina, ate at Mike's, played at Dale Hollow gold course, and had dinner at the resort restaurant. There’s a huge pool for families, plus a nearby putt-putt course at the campground. The rooms were clean, service was friendly, and the rates were reasonable.

The lake views from many rooms and the dining room are lovely. The menu has a nice range, and the food was very good, including catfish and hot browns. Rooms are spacious, recently remodeled, and have queen beds. The marina is close by, there’s a nice pool for lodge guests, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I’d eaten at the Lodge several times over the past five years and always thought the food was very good. This week I brought some guests, and our meals just weren’t what they used to be. The soup and salad bar was fine, and the service was good, but the food itself wasn’t.

State Park Lodge is in an awesome spot for getting out on Dale Hollow Lake, with lots of wildlife around. SPR-Ronnie Ellis also got us out of a jam after we locked our keys in the truck. Thanks again!
