Hampton Inn Gaffney

I’m still waiting for the $399 refund for guest folio number 40657, dated 23rd October 2025. It’s been four months, and I’ve sent countless emails to the Hampton Inn team without getting a response.

I was here for a week on a solo business trip. The room had good space, and the lobby had nice spots for meetings. The bed was medium-plush and comfortable. Water pressure was okay, but the hot water was great. There were good restaurants nearby, and the location made it easy to use either the back roads or the interstate. I was there in April 2025, when I-85 was under construction in this part. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, nothing special, but there was food. I had a great time here.

The room was spacious, a double queen with handicap access and a big Samsung TV. It’s pet-friendly, with a $75 fee, and the breakfast attendant was excellent and kind. The gentleman who checked us in was great, too. Pat, who checked us out the next day, was disrespectful. She was on a personal call that wasn’t an emergency, even after another employee told her we were waiting. That was inappropriate and poor customer service. The room itself really needed cleaning and updating. The sheets and pillowcases were filthy, as if they hadn’t been changed. There was hair in the shower and on the showerhead, and the inside of the toilet was gross. The outlets under the little lights didn’t work.

Our stay at Hampton Inn Gaffney was a happy one. The room was clean, it was fairly quiet, and the hotel is close to I-85.
