The kids had a great time playing in the snow, and there was something to keep everyone entertained, from age 4 to 41. We also got to explore the area. Our group of families has met up every Martin Luther King Weekend for 20 years, and this house worked really well for us. It was easy for everyone to travel to, and the different sleeping options and appliances made cooking for a big group much simpler. We'd definitely like to come back.

The host was great and super responsive, and we’d definitely come back, maybe in summer for boating. We went skiing with my husband and our dog, and the location by the lake was lovely. The hot tub and huge backyard were great for our lab. We could walk to the ski lift, which was the best. The only thing I’d change is the low water pressure at the bathroom sinks and in the kitchen. The shower was fine.

Even with a rainy weekend, our group of 25, ages 1 to 90, had plenty to do during our 4 lovely days at RoughCut Lodge in Rebersberg Pa. We squeezed in walks between showers, played board games and ping pong, did family trivia, and tie-dyed shirts. The lodge was beautiful and well kept, with a big, well-stocked kitchen that made meals for such a crowd easy. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful, and we’re repeat visitors. We spent a weekend at Rough Cut Lodge in April, enjoying the peaceful setting, outstanding views, and plenty of activities. The accommodations were excellent. If the weather keeps you inside, the welcome center has a pool table and games. We had a wonderful time.

The peace and quiet really stood out, with no noise or distractions and just the sounds of nature around us. Waking up to the trees and scenery was lovely. The cabin had everything we needed while still feeling authentically rustic and cozy. It exceeded our expectations, and we left feeling refreshed. It would suit a romantic getaway or a quiet break from daily life, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
