The river view from the back porch made a lovely spot for coffee in the morning or a drink later in the day. We spent Thanksgiving here, relaxing in the recliners by the fireplace with the hot chocolate they provided, reading or watching TV. The Christmas tree waiting for us was a nice surprise. We’ve stayed at New River Trail Cabins for years and are always happy to come back. The cabins are very clean, the amenities are great, and the staff is welcoming. We highly recommend NR Trail cabins.

Stepping inside and seeing how spotless everything is gives you that instant ahh feeling. The cabins sit above the New River, and each has its own layout and tasteful decor. We’re here for our third year and are already planning the fourth. There are shaded porches with rocking chairs looking out over the river. Trees and space give you privacy, though you can still call out to friends in the cabin next door. Kitchens, a fridge, and a barbecue make it easy to eat in.

We came back for a birthday getaway for the two of us, having loved the cabins on an earlier stay. The warm welcome started as soon as we walked in, and our cabin had everything we needed, plus more.

Really clean cabins in a handy spot for the New River Trail. The decor is nice, it’s quiet, and the bedding was very comfortable.

We love these cabins and have been back several times because they never let us down. There are trees, trails, and streams around the place, yet restaurants and stores are close by. The setting is idyllic, and the cabins are beautiful and super clean.
