Rainbow Motel

After two months at Rainbow Motel, I’m very satisfied. The staff were always polite and helpful, the room was well maintained, and housekeeping was consistent. Parking felt secure, and the location was convenient. There’s also a nice breakfast place nearby, which is handy if you’re driving on US 30. It looks like they’re renovating all the rooms, and the management is new as well. I appreciate the hospitality and would recommend it to travelers or long-term guests. 10/10, really nice.

A quiet place, with friendly staff and no bugs. The rooms have been renovated, were clean, and had everything I needed!

The online pictures don’t match what you get, and you won’t get towels, a washcloth, toilet paper, or a decent TV with more than a channel or two. I used to stay there and know people who still do. Five years ago, rooms were $45 a night, which is about what they’re worth. I called today and was quoted $65 plus tax and a deposit.

The property needs upgrades, which I suppose is reflected in the price. Still, the newest managers are doing a wonderful job with what they’ve been given. They’re on site, available, and quick to respond to anything you need. From what we saw during our two-day, two-night stay, rooms are cleaned as soon as someone checks out. The owner is lucky to have such conscientious managers.
