We'd decided to give the property another try for Christmas 2022 and arrived Thursday, 12/22/22, to find it all ready. Then CenterPoint had a power failure overnight. We were without electricity from 5:30 am until about 2:30 pm, with no lights, heat, or way to cook. Management's emergency response was great: they gave regular updates and offered to move us to another property. Power came back while we were packing, and even though it was 57 degrees inside, we decided to stay. After hours, the lights began flickering off and back on every few minutes, and the deck started leaking. We called the after hours emergency number, but got no response at all. Nobody ever called us back. Someone came the next day and shut off the water running to the deck without ever communicating with us. The heat kept dropping to 69, so we had to keep turning it back up to 75. We've all agreed we're done renting this property.
