Renee was a wonderful hostess and made a fabulous breakfast. We loved our stay at The Coppersmith Inn. The house is lovely, and the location worked well: we could walk to the Seawall and drive to the bayside of the island in just a few minutes. We'd highly recommend it and definitely plan to come back.

I took an impromptu three-day self-care break from Houston, and Coppersmith Inn was just right for relaxing, eating well, talking, and resting my overworked brain. On Friday, Chef Renee greeted me at check-in and offered a tour. I said yes and got to hear about the beautiful home's history. I also met her husband Robert and their sweet, happy dog Dexter. They were preparing for an event on Sunday night, so it was a quick hello. Renee showed me the upstairs Rose Room and explained that they live on site if anything came up. The room had everything I needed: a comfortable bed and pillows, a small sofa and chair by the windows, and a binder about the home's history and the owners beside the TV. It was small without feeling cramped. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, extra towels, and two robes. The whole place felt cozy and comfortable, almost like home. Breakfast on Saturday at 9:00am was delicious and filling: a prosciutto omelet, hash browns, two small sausages, yogurt with fruit, coffee, and orange juice. Soft music played, which was a nice surprise. Afterward I spent a couple of peaceful hours crocheting in the parlor while Renee and Robert cooked and prepared for their event. We chatted, and I enjoyed hearing about their love of cooking and running a B&B. Dexter came by several times for pets, and I loved his company. Sunday's breakfast was just as good and filling, with blueberry pancakes, hash brown potatoes, a sausage patty, eggs, fruit, coffee, and orange juice. Renee and Robert made their guests feel at home and served a comforting breakfast before the day's plans. I'll absolutely stay again!

Renee and her husband were wonderful, and the service was top notch. Breakfast every morning was perfectly portioned and tasted amazing. You could tell she's a Chef. I enjoyed chatting with Renee and the other guests, and the house is beautiful, so take the tour. The little private pool in the backyard was relaxing, and the granite bottom felt great under my feet. I also appreciated being allowed to smoke in certain areas. My only reason for not giving all fives was the squeaky bed. Everything else was amazing!

My husband and I spent two nights in the carriage house after our wedding for a mini honeymoon. Renee and Robert were warm and personable, and made the stay feel special. We got the romance package and would recommend it. Breakfast was delicious both mornings, served at a reasonable 9am, and it was a lovely way to start each day.

The owners were outstanding, among the kindest and most caring people I've met, and went above and beyond with their service. This was one of our best travel experiences. The inn is elegant, and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. My wife and I have never had better breakfasts. It was fine cuisine, not basic menu food. I highly recommend the place, and expect the owners and inn to make for a wonderful, memorable stay.
